DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate who possesses excellent analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to keep detailed and accurate records and the capacity and desire to learn.
Primary duties will include, but are not limited to,tissue culture work with samples originating from both human and animal.
1. Tissue Culture: Establish, maintain, and freeze back primary cell lines.
2. Isolation and viral infection of primary cells.
3. Monitory of protein output of various cultures

XBiotech is a development stage biopharmaceutical company located fifteen minutes from the heart of downtown Austin, Texas. XBiotech is focused on developing antibody therapeutics targeting the major medical needs of inflammatory diseases and cancer.
REQUIREMENTS:
Successful candidate will have a BS or MS in molecular biology, cell biology or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
* Preferred Skills and Techniques: cloning, PCR, ELISA and other biology techniques
* Analyse research data, interpret results, recognize inconsistencies, and have the ability to troubleshoot procedures.
* Maintain familiarity with literature related to the project.
* Keep detailed laboratory records, prepare written and oral research reports.
Must have good organizational and time management skills, and be able to work in a team structure. Must have strong work ethic and good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work quickly and accurately in a demanding, fast paced work environment.
