DESCRIPTION
New and well-funded Medical Device Startup is seeking an experienced Assembler. This is a great opportunity to work in an exciting therapeutic area!
Responsibilities:
- Perform Line Clearance and complete a lot history record
- Read and follow manufacturing documentation
- Follow and adhere to a quality system to produce quality products
- Work with a microscope in the assembly of small components
- Brings abnormalities or problems to the attention of supervisors
- Maintain a high level of quality work
- Maintain a good level of productivity
- Move to various assembly stations to perform different tasks
- Work with the assembly of new R&D products into manufacturing
- Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
- Communicate with all levels of manufacturing including Operations, Engineering, and Research and Development
REQUIREMENTS:
Skills/Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to solder small components
- Worked in a medical device environment with adherence to a quality system
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Mechanical aptitude and good organizational skills
- Keen interest in continuous learning
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, and make decisions
- Computer skills
Additional Experience
- Current position as an Assembler III or Lead
- Leadership abilities
- Working towards a college diploma in Electronics, Chemical or Medical Laboratory Technology considered a plus
