Scientist (Technology) - Assay & Automation Technology

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated, interactive and creative Scientist to join the Assay and Automation Technology department. Responsibilities will include the development and implementation of high-throughput cell-based assays. Using large collections of arrayed cDNA and siRNA, the successful candidate will discover new drug targets through expression cloning and knockdown screens while taking full advantage of state-of-the-art automation. He/she will collaborate extensively with other investigators in Research and must be able to work effectively in a highly networked environment.


REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a PhD level scientist with at least two years of postdoctoral training in Cell Biology or a related field and a superior record of professional achievement as documented by publications and patent filings. The successful candidate will be a laboratory scientist with hands-on knowledge of state-of-the-art cell-based assay methodologies and automation technologies. This position requires excellent optimization and troubleshooting skills, superior organizational talent and keen attention paid to details. The candidate should also have outstanding communication skills in order to succeed in a teamwork-oriented, multi-faceted environment.
