DESCRIPTION
Baxter’s BioScience division is a leading producer of both plasma-based and recombinant clotting factors for hemophilia, as well as biopharmaceuticals used to treat immune deficiencies, alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency and other blood-related disorders.
*The Medical Supervisor (MS) performs determination of donor suitability to donate plasma, management of donor adverse events, review of laboratory test results, donor notification of unsuitable test results, and support of special donor immunization programs, where applicable.
* The MS works under the direct supervision of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager as applicable) for operational guidance and under the supervision of the Center Physician for medical issues.
* In addition, the MS follows guidance provided by BioLife Medical Affairs and provides center level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS).

REQUIREMENTS:
Ø Must be a graduate of a recognized educational program and be currently licensed or certified in the state where performing his/her Medical Supervisor duties.
* Registered Nurse (either BSN or RN),Ø Able to satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for Medical Supervisors.
* Ø Detail oriented.
* Ø Customer service oriented.
* Ø Willingness to work with other Medical Supervisors to ensure coverage of all operating hours.
