DESCRIPTION
Leadership of the full cycle product development effort at a strategic, financial and technical level.
* Lead outsourced R&D teams and internal cross-functional teams on key major programs from initial concept through and into product introduction including confirming worldwide product acceptance Act as the general manager of the program including budget, timeline, risk management, supplier management, and execution of all functions to guarantee a timely, quality introduction of the product.
* Provide regular updates and feedback to the Executive Leadership Team regarding progress, issues, accomplishments and program team’s needs.
* Lead the entire project team in all phases of the program to ensure compliance with QSR, GMP, and notified body requirements.
* Provide technical and project leadership through commercialization phase; provide guidance, advice and support to Engineers and Technicians in areas of project leadership, technical consultation, documentation, quality, GMP procedures, Engineering disciplines, company policies, etc.
* Responsible for short and long term strategy development for expansion and improvement of current product initiatives.
* Generate complex project proposals and perform all related due diligence to analyze costs
REQUIREMENTS:
BS, Engineering with a MBA/advanced degree preferred Min 15 yrs industry experience in progressive leadership roles Min 7 years project management experience with demonstrated ability to deliver value added products from concept to the market as per plan.
* Track record of achievement in delivering large and/or multiple projects and influencing business outcomes PMI, IPMA or equivalent certification desired Knowledge of Product Development Process (PDP), i.

*, Product Specification, Risk Assessment and Management, Design Control, Change Control, introduction into manufacturing and the field.
* Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams.
* Good organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.

* Proven ability to develop talent Managerial courage, willing to push back and challenge ideas.
