DESCRIPTION
The main purpose of this role is to develop, promote and implement efficient and professional sourcing strategies for the Company. Ensure the application of Company standards and sourcing efficiencies while managing sourcing activity in a complex business environment.

Major accountabilities:
- Lead the strategy and project management for complex IT sourcing projects in an international environment.
- Deliver year over year total cost efficiencies for spend under category management.
- Manage and foster key senior management relationships within category of
responsibility.
- Ensure high level of key stakeholder support through implementation of approved sourcing strategy and communication of sourcing value proposition;
- Align global sourcing objectives with critical local requirements;
- Seek and share best practice and develop synergies among global sourcing team in key areas such as market analysis, cost modeling, risk analysis, benchmarking, eRFx and development of sourcing strategy;
- Work with the Systems and Operations group to enable and implement processes and systems that drive overall procurement efficiency and improve compliance;
- Ensure compliance with purchasing policies for the major categories of spend;


REQUIREMENTS:
- MBA or equivalent;
- Finance/commercial and IT
understanding preferred;
- English (mandatory) and German (desired);
- 3 to 5 years experience in sourcing/commercial role
preferably in the IT or other relevant technical area.
