DESCRIPTION
Seeking an experienced individual for the Oncology Research / Pharmacology Group. Ideal candidate should possess moderate/advanced experience in cell culture, cellular and molecular biology laboratory techniques, and have experience with tumor models in a cancer pharmacology setting. Duties will include analyzing signal transduction pathways, handling of small rodents, administering drugs through various routes, evaluating and presenting data to colleagues, and interacting with scientists from within the group as well as outside

REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Qualifications:

BS in Life Sciences

3+ years of hands-on lab experience in academia or industry

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on lab experience in academia or industry

A well-documented background of scientific expertise in molecular, cell and tumor biology, coupled with experience in and knowledge of the drug discovery and development process

Experience in ectopic, orthotopic, metastatic, and host tumor model systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral) as well as the ability to function successfully in a matrixed team environment

Excellent record keeping skills and basic computer literacy is expected (including use of spreadsheets, database and statistical analysis software packages)

Ability to work independently in establishing experimental protocols and critically analyzing data with minimal, if any supervision
