DESCRIPTION
Denosumab, a fully-human monoclonal antibody to RANK Ligand, is a novel therapy for cancer-induced bone disease. The Marketing Manager, Denosumab Oncology will support all aspects of project management for the commercial launch of denosumab in Oncology. This project management will be guided by a multi-faceted brand strategy organized by multiple specialties (Oncologists, Urologists) and multiple tumor types (breast cancer, lung cancer, multiple myeloma, and other solid tumors). The denosumab program will be seeking indications in both Oncology and Urology; thereby creating a challenging and fast-paced work environment when considering complex planning and project management needs by unique key stakeholders (patients, physicians, payers) and the need for operational execution in both Oncology and Urology.
This position will report to the Director of Strategic Planning for Denosumab Oncology.
Responsibilities include: - Develop and manage integrated cross-functional plans for the launch of denosumab by: Identifying key deliverables for cross functional and brand teams - Understanding and outlining inter-dependencies - Integrating the information into a cross-functional timeline - Ensuring cross-functional alignment and accountability - Monitoring progress and adherence to timelines - Identifying project issues and facilitating resolution - Conducting risk management and scenario planning, drive development of contingency and/or risk mitigation plans - Identifying and managing resource gaps - Ensure functional plans are aligned with product and project strategies - Facilitate meetings and ensure critical objectives reached - Serve as single point of contact for managing project information (content quality)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree - 4+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience with focus on project management and planning - 2+ years of experience in large scale project management
Preferred Qualifications - Masters degree - 6+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience with a focus on large-scale project management - Strong leadership and ability to drive influence across stakeholders to set direction, align work efforts, and ensure flawless execution - Demonstrated ability to effectively produce business results - Demonstrated utilization of professional project management tools (i.e. Microsoft Project), methodologies and practices - Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities - Professional experience in a core discipline: sales, marketing, planning, medical, operations are highly valued - PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is desirable
