DESCRIPTION
Candidate will manage activities and initiatives related to Reimbursement Services (RS) for the OBU. This includes, but will not be limited to, strategic decision-making, environmental analysis, brand planning, budget and execution of access tactics. This role will include cross-BU matrix coordination at Amgen including Corporate Accounts, Legal, Regulatory and others as required. This role will drive both operational and tactical oversight of activities, executive level facilitation, management of extensive external relationships, oversight of market research initiatives and consultancy management.
Responsibilities: - Responsible for project management of OBU RS initiatives including a call center and innovative resources that support access for patients and providers - Assist with field sales message and resources related to RS, including: - Development of RS tools and messaging for field sales force - Triage/resolve sales force questions/issues related to RS - Coordinate with Amgen Training Development specific for sales force training material and competencies - Ensure RS programs support brand fulfillment and adherence programs - Manage deliverables for the RS website maintenance and enhancements - Responsible for managing and tracking key monthly reimbursement data including RS vendor performance reports - Coordination and representation of the Legal and Regulatory review process (Mac)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required - 5+ years biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience - 2+ years experience in biopharmaceutical industry in any combination of the following areas: marketing; project management; strategic planning
Preferred Requirements: - Masters degree in business administration, public health or public policy - Reimbursement and policy experience - Experience in reimbursement and patient support programs, including call centers, co-pay programs and other similar initiatives - Excellent interpersonal skills/strong communication skills; ability to effectively lead/influence cross-functional teams - Functional knowledge of the payer environment, including Medicare (Part B and Part D) and commercial Proven ability to interact with key customers or stakeholders - Collaboration through work teams
