Job Summary
The job primarily involves (i) development of in vitro assays for immune targets in the Autoimmunity group; (ii) development of mouse and human T cell and B cell assays; (ii) characterization of mouse and human immune cells with flow cytometry; (iii) development of cytokine ELISAs; (iv) generation of scientific reports. Job

Responsibilities
- Career development activities (development of new technologies, scientific course attendance, participation in scientific manuscript writing, etc.). - Supervisor/Group scientific interactions and presentations. - Project Team meeting presentations. - Assay development, lab notebook-keeping and preparation of progress reports.

Basic Qualifications
- At least a Bachelors Degree, preferably with a Cell Biology, Immunology, or Biochemistry major.

Note:
this position is not appropriate for a PhD Scientist based upon Wyeth's career ladder. - At least 8 years of relevant post-baccalaureate work experience, or at least 6 years of relevant postgraduate work experience, in an academic or industry experience. - Immune cell culture and immune assay development including Flow Cytometry and ELISAs lab experience. - Experience with human T and B cell assay development is preferred.
