Athersys, Inc. A collaboration to discover and functionally validate novel drug targets that play an important role in cancer and inflammation. Athersys scientists will work with researchers under the direction of Dr. George R. Stark, Chairman of the Lerner Research Institute at CCF, to rapidly and efficiently identify novel drug targets that regulate certain cell-signaling and disease pathways. Athersys has an exclusive option to commercialize novel therapeutics that result from the collaboration.
