Southmedic Adds 18 Jobs in Barrie, ON Expansion

Barrie MP Patrick Brown announced Friday that Southmedic Inc. will receive a contribution of up to $900,000, opening up 18 full-time jobs in the Barrie area. The announcement, on behalf of Honourable Gary Goodyear, Minister of State for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) is a part of FedDev Ontario's Prosperity Initiative, which encourages southern Ontario businesses, not-for-profit organizations and post-secondary institutions to take on projects that will result in economy growth.
