RS Medical Announces Distribution of Innovative Platelet Rich Plasma System

VANCOUVER, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--International Rehabilitative Sciences, Inc., d/b/a RS Medical, today announced its U.S. distribution of Harvest Technologies’ Terumo SmartPReP®2 Platelet Concentrate System, as part of a recently completed agreement. Harvest is considered a leader in the development of point-of-care cellular platforms that isolate and concentrate autologous growth factors, such as platelets and stem cells. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is blood plasma with highly concentrated platelets. Platelets also contain natural growth factors that may help optimize conditions for healing. The agreement makes way for RS Medical’s immediate marketing and distribution of the system to their practitioners.
