MONTEBELLO, NY--(Marketwire - June 04, 2012) -

Richard J. Hall (Rick) has joined Oncology Services International (OSI) as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Hall will also serve as a member of the Board of Directors. OSI is the largest independent service organization for radiation oncology devices in the world.

"I am delighted to join OSI, the clear leader in providing engineering services in radiation oncology," said Hall. "I've been an OSI customer for many years, and they have a terrific team of professionals who truly understand service and maintenance, and the commitment required to help their customers provide high quality patient care."

Hall continued, "Healthcare providers are under tremendous pressure to deliver high quality care while reducing capital expenditures and operating expenses. OSI is perfectly positioned to help our customers achieve this objective. We have a tremendous opportunity for aggressive growth in both the domestic and international markets."

Prior to joining OSI, Hall served as President of Alliance Oncology and was Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at US Oncology. His extensive healthcare background includes more than 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors.

Hall began his career with American Hospital Supply and also held senior leadership positions with General Medical Corporation, McKesson Corporation, PatientKeeper Inc. and BrightStar Healthcare®. "OSI was looking for a strong, commercially oriented professional to join our team in the key CEO position, and that's exactly what Rick Hall brings to the table," said Philip Podmore, the company's founder, who has been serving as interim CEO during the search period. "I look forward to continuing to provide guidance and leadership through my role on the Board of Directors."

OSI offers an alternative to hospitals and clinics that are seeking reliable, leading-edge radiation oncology solutions at a significantly lower cost than OEM. The company's solutions include comprehensive service and maintenance, equipment sales that include refurbished and fully tested systems, and an extensive parts inventory. OSI's solutions are backed by a comprehensive warranty and supported by the best service team in the industry for the entire lifecycle of the device.
