Medical Acquisition Between AEGIS Healthcare and Pavillion Medical to Create New Jobs

AEGIS Healthcare has acquired Pavillion Medical, which develops and manufactures bed frames and other equipment for obese patients. The acquisition of Pavillion Medical provides Aegis Healthcare, which is based in Shelley, West Yorkshire, with a dedicated manufacturing arm, coupled with product development expertise, and will give Aegis “immediate access” into the bariatric market, a branch of medicine that deals with the causes, prevention, and treatment of obesity.
