ECI Biotech Bacterial Test Awarded $949,000 Grant

WORCESTER— ECI Biotech Inc., a privately held biotechnology company developing proteins as sensors, has been awarded $949,000 in federal funding to continue work on a diagnostic that would rapidly determine whether a patient’s chronic wound is badly infected.
