Aspirin Cuts Some Cancer Risk 60 Percent, University of Southampton Study

Taking a regular dose of aspirin reduces the long-term risk of cancer by around 60 percent in people with a family history of the disease. Evidence of the benefits of aspirin has been accumulating for more than 20 years, but new results published in The Lancet are the first from a randomized controlled trial.
