200 Hologic, Inc. (HOLX) Workers to Lose Jobs

More than 200 Zionsville workers will lose their jobs when a medical device maker closes its doors. Hologic Inc. said Wednesday that it plans to close its operation near 96th Street and Zionsville Road over the next 18 months. Massachusetts-based Hologic took over the Zionsville operation in 2006 when it was called Suros Surgical. The site makes products used in breast biopsies.
