IVAX Corporation (AMEX:IVX) (LSE:IVX.L) announced today that Jesus Leal has joined IVAX' subsidiary, IVAX Laboratories, as President. IVAX Laboratories is a U.S. proprietary pharmaceuticals company that markets IVAX' current U.S. proprietary products such as prescription drugs for allergies, coughs and colds; Nasarel(R) for allergic rhinitis; and QVAR(R) for asthma; and is positioned to market the future products that emerge from IVAX' research pipeline. Mr. Leal will report to Neil Flanzraich, vice chairman and president, of IVAX Corporation.
